30 years ago I injured my back with two herniated discs pressing on my spinal cord that turned into degenerative discs in all my lumbar disks. I had the lumbar Discseel® Procedure on August 25th, each disc L1 down to S1. My pain level had dropped from around a 9 on the day of the procedure to ZERO! After all these years of nerve ablations, injections, and spine stimulators, the doctors were just treating the symptoms and NOT the cause of the issues. It will be three weeks this Friday since the procedure and I’m doing great, being careful. My wife and I are both having trouble making me not over do things and take it slow and steady! Even people at church have noticed that I have a spring back in my step and a relief of pain in my face! I can not say thank you to Dr. Pauza enough! I just wish we had met about ten years earlier.

A Life-Changing Experience with Dr. Kevin Pauza and the Discseel Procedure” About 45 days ago, I was in such severe pain that I couldn’t even get out of bed, let alone walk. After a hospital visit and numerous tests, it was confirmed that I had a herniated disc. With my responsibilities and obligations, I knew I couldn’t afford to live with this pain for years like some people I know, who have been suffering for 3 to 10 years. I cannot even begin to say how thankful I am for finding Dr. Pauza! We live in Canada, and if I had to wait to get by back fixed here, I would have been in excruciating pain for a very long time. I had tears in the L5 S1 and the fluid was leaking onto the sciatic nerve root, which was causing me pain like I had never felt in my life. 3 days after my procedure with Dr. Pauza, the pain down my leg was almost gone...THREE DAYS!!!! As of today, I am 2 weeks since my procedure, and it is night and day. While I know the recovery is most important for the first 3-5 months, with full recovery within 12 months, I am mindful to not do anything that will compromise my results. Kevin’s Team runs flawlessly. Dr.Pauza has helped 5 of my friends who now are living their best life. I had a lot of cervical issues that made my life difficult for about 15 years. To be honest I was nervous as I had never had a procedure or an operation and I’m 51. Dr Pauza explained what his plan was to repair my neck to new like condition. Everything was on time and exactly as promised. It is the most amazing thing to wake up with no pain and able to go recover for a night locally in Dallas. Dr Kevin Pauza is the most dedicated, caring professional that I have met. He took his time to explain the discseel procedure to me, was honest and concerned about the cost and let it be my decision as to how I wanted to proceed. On the day of the procedure, he came to me in the prep room and explained what he was going to do and also came to me in recovery to let me know that everything went well and what was accomplished. I was under a general anesthesia so felt nothing. Although I had some post surgical pain in the recovery room, by the time I got back to my hotel, I was pain free. I have some pain now on and off but nothing that wasn't bearable. I never even had to take any of the pain meds that were prescribed. I would recommend Dr Pauza to anyone with disc problems because I feel he is the most experienced in the field. He invented this procedure 15 years ago and has given a great gift to humanity by his inventive genius.

Dr Pauza performed my discseel 2 weeks ago on 4 discs. At my consult He explained what was causing my pain and how the procedure works. After my procedure he wrote me a note explaining what he found during the annulagram pre-procedure and what he treated. On the note he also included his personal cell phone in I needed anything after my procedure. In recovery I had severe spasms and he came to my bedside to help. After a few days at home, I was still having pain. I reached out to Dr Pauza and he quickly responded and helped me to manage my pain. Dr Pauza truly cares about his patients and wants them to be able to return to a quality of life without surgery.

Dr. Pauza sits with his patients and discusses the procedure and why the Discseel Procedure works as opposed the traditional surgical method of cages and screws. He put both my husband and I at ease and patiently answered all our questions plus gave us the background on how he came to discover the Discseel Procedure.
Discseel to me is the only procedure anyone should have done if possible. It only makes sense while the alternative of screws and rods in your back seems so barbaric and doesn’t even compare. I had a level fused in my neck years ago. Since then I’ve been looking for alternative treatments as the levels below the fusion went bad and the doctors wanted to go in and fuse the whole mess! I really thought that it was over for me. After the Discseel procedure I was so impressed, that six weeks after my procedure I took my wife down and had her back and neck taken care of. Everything went as smoothly as possible. I had the Discseel procedure, and it is now 3 weeks later, and yesterday was the first day that I didn't need any pain pills in over 3 months. The fact is, I was hurting so bad before that I was doubling up on every pain pill they gave me and still couldn't get any relief. I know I still have some healing to do, but the night before last was the first time Ive gotten a full night's sleep in over 3 months and already, if nothing else, it was well worth the money. After almost 20 years of back pain I am living a normal life again and able to enjoy going out with friends and family. I can play with my grandchildren and enjoy teaching water aerobics. Last year my back took another turn for the worst and I had to stop teaching and could barely get through the day even with medication. After dealing with 24/7 back, neck and sciatic pain for four years, researching all possible options for relief and resolution of this life-altering problem, I decided on Dr. Pauza’s Discseel procedure. After thoroughly reviewing his website, protocol, reviews and testimonials and the YouTube interview with other doctors, my apprehension disappeared, and I moved forward. From the beginning, Brittany, his liaison assistant was a gem! She explained everything concisely, edified Dr. Pauza and his staff and made me feel very comfortable about the process. On February 17, 2022, my daughter Lauren and I met Dr. Pauza for a pre-op consultation. He was very personable, thorough, and reassuring about his breakthrough procedure and what to expect. I no longer had any anxiety. As I was set up for the procedure, his staff was professional, relaxed, and made me feel the same. Although I took only half of a pain med after the procedure, I initially had no pain anymore. I was ecstatic! Dr. Pauza is a genius , prior doctors wanted to do an S1/L5 fusion on me coming through my belly. Researching that procedure, I knew it would be horrible at 65.
Dr Pauza was completely right, all the pain I was experiencing was from the torn discs. As soon as he finished the procedure, I felt relief from pain in my legs. I could barely walk and sit prior to the procedure, now, almost four weeks after I have no pain at all anywhere! Slight stiffness when I get out of bed, but it goes away as soon as I start walking. The Dr said it would take 3 months to a year to heal completely. If I had undergone fusion surgery after 3 weeks, I would still be a mess. I am completely satisfied with Dr Pauza and his dedicated team everyone is customer focused. We drove from Houston to Tyler to have the benefit of his experience. Totally worth the trip and the cost. .Dr Pauza ended up repairing all my lumbar discs, a fusion operation would have missed this opportunity to relieve pain from those leaks.

My experience with Dr. Kevin Pauza, MD, and his team was above my expectations. My only regret was that time was too short for me to have a decent pre-op conversation with the doctor, but I was too excited to remember my questions for him. From pre-op to post-op, by my count, there were ten assistants to the doctor ranging from my liaison who handled paperwork, to the person who placed my IVs, the anesthesiologist, and many nurses. The procedure went quickly as I had seven discs sealed and filled, and by the time I got up from the table to get dressed the back pain was erased. Since that time, thirty-six days later, I have only had two short episodes of pain that lasted maybe three minutes tops- I'm not worried about this as I was advised that it could take up to a year for everything to heal.
I am very grateful that the complete numbness that had settled into my back over the past two years is now gone- that only took two weeks to resolve. My sleep is greatly improved, and I am gaining energy on a daily basis as I relearn to walk and use muscles long past dormant. Dr. Pauza is the most attentive doctor I have ever met. He provided a lot of personal attention to make sure no questions are left unanswered. He provided his personal contact information in case I need to reach him with any additional questions, and he even provided a personal handwritten note post-op, which I thought was a very nice, and reassuring gesture. Dr. Pauza and his Team of professionals treat you as though you are the most important person. They go above and beyond to make the procedure a positive experience. From the time you arrive at the airport in Tyler and the car service picks you up (if you choose to use this service) to the time you are delivered back to the airport I had the feeling of confidence I was being taken care of in the best possible way.
My procedure included 4 discs and went well. I still have back pain, but I feel it is less than before and I am confident it will get better over time. Dr. Pauza and his staff were excellent. I had three ruptured disks in my lower back. My leg pain had been very bad for the last 4 months. Could not sit at all. Had my procedure completed on 4/13/21 and every day has been better than the previous. I am so happy to finally have relief and have a normal day without spending all day on my pain. I still have some lingering leg pain, but not nearly as bad and getting better every day. My back pain seems to be gone or disappearing every day. I could not be happier that I went to Tyler, Texas, from Ohio. I was very nervous about the procedure, but give Dr. Pauza the highest praise now.

I wish there was a Higher Rating then 5 stars....LIFE CHANGING!!! This Procedure Works! I am living proof; my life has changed completely... I had my lumbar spine procedure (6 levels) almost 6 years ago and feel AMAZING!!
After my lumbar procedure, I woke up and felt my toes for the first time in years. Since the procedure, I have been able to live an active lifestyle with almost no pain. Completely the opposite prior to having it done.
Prior to seeing Dr. Pauza, I had no hope, considering the alternative was extremely evasive surgery recommended after prior rhizotomy's, 2 failed neuro stimulators, epidurals, trigger point injections, etc. did not work. My final recommendation was a 6-level fusion which is life changing and very dangerous surgery. I was told by both neurosurgeons and spine surgeons that this was life altering and even told "I could walk in and possibly wheel out" of surgery by one of them.
I just underwent my cervical C3-C7 and already feel a change (no numbness in my arm or tingling fingers). I am so Thankful that I found Dr. Pauza, I truly feel I have been given a second chance and would highly recommend him to anyone who suffers the way I did.

Kevin Pauza is the light at the end of the tunnel. One of the top spine doctors in the country. The discseel procedure he has patented is life changing for those that have suffered low back injury/ pain and a much better alternative to surgery. Dr. Pauza is very knowledgeable and willing to listen to the patient and their symptoms. He goes over all options with the patient and tries to avoid doing procedures that he already knows will not help. He can work with insurance or on a cash basis so he can get around the insurance requirements of numerous procedures that don't help your particular issue. His office staff is WONDERFUL! I am always able to get hold of someone with questions or medicine refills. I had the Discseel procedure, and it has changed my life for the better! No band aid treatment here, it just gets fixed like it should!!! I LOVE Dr. Pauza and his team!

I’m glad I did not opt for surgery and took this route. I have suffered from back pain for 12+ years, some days I could not put my pants, socks, or shoes on. I would get MRIs every year, I did ablation, injections, therapy and medication with minimal relief and all short term. One Neurologist said it was muscle pain, another just prescribed medication a third had me come in for shots every few months. Multiple specialists and all trying to lead me to fusion.
I’m a week post op and I’m seeing the signs this is working. I cannot wait to wake up pain free and not have to worry that in ten years I’ll need another surgery as is typically the case with fusion (I have two friends that have followed that path).

I can be an over doer working in my yard, plus I had a 29% curvature in my low back. I had extreme pain get worse trying to lift weights. I had 4 leaky discs sealed on May 5th. Now in recovery mode, from my miles of flower beds, yard, and garden. It's hard to not get back out there! But I'm trying to be good.
My brother has had 6 back fusion surgeries, going on possibly 7. He has bolts all the way down his back. He's still in constant pain. He needs to see my doctor!

I agree with what everyone says about your procedure. Dr. F.D. Hussey in Naples was trained by Dr. Pauza. I was either the first or second patient Dr. Hussey performed the Discseel® Procedure on. I am 100% better. Worth every dime I had to pay. What an amazing procedure. Can't thank them enough.

It's been 4 months since my Discseel® Procedure for 4 herniated discs, and all 5 of my lumbar discs had tears that leaked. Here's the bottom line. After living with pain for almost 35 years, It's been an absolute miracle for me. I followed your instructions, well except for one, I walked in a swimming pool a little to longer than I should have after 1 week, and the rest of that day was my most painful experience with muscle spasms during my entire recovery, but I was back to 100% the following day. Although I took the pain pills the first night, I really never needed them, just an occasional Advil. I'm doing everything I want without any pain or discomfort, biking, hiking, swimming, weight training, etc., and I'm letting everyone I know that suffers with back or neck pain about the Discseel® Treatment. I can't thank Dr. Pauza and his entire staff enough.

I was in so much daily pain from a degenerative disc and two others that were herniated that I saw two spine specialists in OH and begged them to operate in order to relieve the pain. They both refused. On a scale of 1-10, I lived with a constant 6. It was affecting me physically and emotionally. Fortunately, I was referred to Dr. Pauza by one of those specialists. I was so nervous going into the Discseel® Procedure because I came in from out of state and had never met Dr. Pauza and his team. I was thoroughly impressed by their politeness and eagerness to answer any questions. Miracle? Well, 11 years back I started with first back surgery and had 9 of them with fusions. In 2012, I started following Kevin on Sunday morning with Charles Osgood and then my surgeons told me that was all a farce and not proven. I listened rather than going with my gut feeling. BIGGEST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE!!! I was disabled on ice 14 hrs a day for years and then made my way to Dr. Pauza.
When I left the hospital I was walking 17,000 steps the next day and average 8-10k since.
DO NOT TWIST OR LIFT AND U WILL BE FINE. I am actually looking for surgeons to take fusions out of my body like they did in 2016 from my L4 area. I am on a mission to stop people from getting fusions!! If you want to know the real truth just ask every neuro surgeon or orthopedic and ask them if they have a fusion...! GOOD LUCK! They know the real truth but will sell their soul to the devil before telling you the truth.

I flew over from tropical Queensland, Australia to have the Discseel® Procedure. I'm glad I did. I had sciatica and a little sciatic pain down both legs. I was using walking poles to get around. I had chronic pain in my lower back. Five discs were in total degeneration. The medical profession in Australia did not have any solution for my condition. I contacted Carrie at Dr. Pauza's office, and I'm glad I did. The sciatic pains went away within days of the treatment. Lower back pain diminished from a 9/10 to a 2/10 within months. I have osteoarthritis throughout my spine and hips, which causes different pain for me. My family and I are very grateful to Dr. Pauza and his great team. Who would have thought this simple procedure could change the quality of life for people who suffer with high level pain continuously? This Procedure has since become available in Japan. Thank you for the compassion, medical care and related services you provided me before and after the Discseel® Procedure. I had the Discseel® Procedure on January 29, 2019, and I can tell that I am receiving benefits from it already. I have had lower back pain for over 2 years now after being rear-ended. Before, I did not have back pain. I tried conservative care to deal with it. Unfortunately, the conservative care did not work, and doctors told me that I'll need surgery. After the Discseel® Procedure, I can already tell that my pain is improving. Dr. Pauza gave me my life back. That statement may sound dramatic but it is true. I was being treated by arguably the best physicians at UCSF and Stanford (two top-tier medical hospitals) and my results were abysmal. I was in immense pain every day and the only relief I could find was through narcotics. I had basically given up until somebody saw me limping one day and recommend that I go see Dr. Pauza. I suffered with chronic back pain for 4 years. Being the physical person I am I continued with my normal high intensity workouts and pushed through the pain, continued with my martial arts, gymnastics and weight training until the pain was too much to bare. As a film a television actor who is adamant about performing all his own stunts and someone who is expected to because of the world class level of martial arts I bring to the table as an actor, I was in despair and knew I had to find a way to deal with or remedy my back problem before it got any worse. I sought out some top spine surgeons, the first one told me I had no other choice but spinal fusion, I was devastated, the other two surgeons told me I could have an artificial disc or fusion or I could do nothing, and just use pain management procedures.
I was seriously considering the artificial disc, but something inside me said DON'T! The next day my chiropractor sent me a video about the Discseel® Procedure. I watched the video, and I was AMAZED, I researched everything I could about the procedure. I then called Dr. Pauza in Texas. From the moment the procedure began I had complete faith and trust. From the beginning to after the procedure, my whole experience was amazing, I couldn't have asked for anything better. I was walking around immediately after the procedure.
By the second week I was back in the gym and my sciatic nerve pain had diminished, I was also able to lie on my stomach without pain, which previous to the procedure I could not do without pain. By week three I was shadow boxing. My progress grew every week. Now I am 3 months (August 13, 2015) out, I am back to running, I have increased flexibility, I am back to kicking and punching, back in the gym and I am beyond grateful that I found the Discseel® Procedure.
Sometimes in life you will find those rare individuals that can change your life. I personally feel Dr. Pauza gave me back my health, enabled me to come back pain free, and better than ever, and enabled me not to choose major surgery and for that I am eternally grateful. And by taking care of me they have taken care of my whole family.

I had 2 microdiscectomy's (2010, 2012). I'm my case, they just bought me some time as the pain always comes back. In 2015, I was recommended to get a 4 level X Flex fusion. No way, there are alternatives......This procedure changed my life. It's changed the lives of many friends and family members as well. I was on pain meds for 10 years and in awful pain. I was off them 2 weeks after the procedure, that was 3.5 years ago.
