Carrie Wright, driven by her experience with a successful non-surgical spine procedure, became a champion and co-founder of the Discseel® Procedure. She spearheaded its domestic and international expansion through physician education and strategic business growth initiatives. Her journey, where she faced the prospect of invasive spinal fusion before finding relief with Dr. Pauza’s procedure, fueled her dedication to revolutionizing spine care.

Carrie recognized the stagnation in conventional spine surgery, particularly spinal fusions, which had remained essentially unchanged for over a century. She partnered with Dr. Pauza to introduce the Discseel® Procedure as a disruptive technology, overcoming challenges in a market resistant to innovation. Carrie’s passion and determination highlight the need for modernized spine care, emphasizing that advancements in medical technology should parallel those seen in other fields. Carrie received her Bachelor of Science, cum laude, from Stephen F. Austin University in Texas and then pursued her graduate studies at Cornell’s SC Johnson College of Business, where she joined a lineage of 40 family members also graduating from Cornell University.

Beyond her professional achievements, Carrie is a mother of two daughters. She enjoys Pilates and is an avid reader with a passion for biographies and stories of triumph over adversity.
